No kidding! Thank you for showing me the site. :) Like I said at JBA, you guys are the first people i've -EVER- known since 2009, to even know who The Residents are.
I finally discovered the secret of how religion works: Mary gave birth to a psychedelic kid!
Brilliant Video, indeed!
All the best for 2009 and lots of further creative ideas wishes u

An Arizona Boy Eh? I was Raised up in Kingman, Lived in Flagstaff, and Been to Pahoeenicks a billion times. MMMMM...Living now in Oregon I do so miss 125 in the shade....and scorpions.
Do the Hookers still hang out dwn on Van Buren? I seen ALL,Chemical People and Gruntruck in '91 at the Silver Dollar Club, and seen them and got hang around with them At Boston's On Mclintock a year or two later. Bill Stevenson, A Legend ( Descendents, ALL Black Flag's best albums with rollins Kira Greg Ginn). He was as cool as hell, all of them we very nice guys, I Used to correspond with them in high school when they were touring after meeting them. Karl Alvarez, he did all the cover art, and i was just learning how to play bass, he would write me and do little ALLROY drawings.

Of course, all credit goes to the Rez for their stage work and concepts, but I think a respectful and extended bow must go to my old pal Chris McGregor, a brilliant designer, for the look of Cube E, Bunny Boy, and other shows. His many successes are no mistake.
What sort of tech work are you doing? As a performer I fell into tech work by accident. Ended up doing everything in the theater world except costuming. Made some good money, garnered fantastic experiences and lifelong friends, and gained an invaluable education that continues to serve. My theater work in recent years has been confined to writing and directing. Primary energy is centered on my music, teaching, writing, and visual art.
I’m not living in Chicago, but I get there often to teach guitar at Old Town School of Folk Music (a misnomer these days because the school has extended far beyond its fine folk roots). It’s widely known that there’s nothing else in the world like OTS, and it’s a must-visit if you’re thinking about living there. I love Chicago and know many ridiculously talented musicians and teachers there. A vibrant area, to be sure, with a strong vibe all its own.
I used to be on the teaching staff at Blue Bear School of American Music in SF, and I get back there to do workshops as often as possible. My spiritual core will probably always be in Marin County. I bring my peculiar brand of guitar education/activity/ideas anywhere that folks will have me.
